I have been slacking on the weekly update. Azure took a class about month ago about fixing your patterns in Adobe Illustrator. So, we have slowly fixing patterns in the computer. Before, we fix things on the fly from the pattern. Now, we scan the pattern into the program, sent nodes, make curves smoother, and take out rigid edges and other general issues with it. The class was very informative. Once the new fix pattern is done, we can get it cut out of acrylic. We have using cereal boxes for templates. I will be adding some more notebooks, purses, and the mask. The next show is Upper Arlington Labor Day Arts Festival. Azure is doing the show solo. Last year, Azure was an emerging artist. This will be her second year. It’s September 3 from 9 am – 4 pm. She is super excited about it. I will be there only as a helper. Come out and visit us on Labor Day.
